Can leak from a lot of places.but.try pumping it up first.it may have just lost pressure. The manual should give you the procedure. I replaced all of my 'tank' type pumps with the electronic type. Noel, I don't fully understand what you have done. This is because I think the pump impeller is in the stainless steel tank at the electric motor end. I have found that the air in the tank leaks out totally in a 24 hour period.
