I don't believe there is anyway to register your current product key on a new account: Similar to how other Microsoft products work, it's a 1 time use key per account/ device. However with the migration coming up (hopefully) sometime before this years end, you won't have to worry about switching GFWL accounts, which is pretty nice! I just hope it comes sooner rather than later! And I don't know how bad your GFWL name is, but mine is xXxSK8ERDUDExXx.
That's a pretty shitty name that my idiotic little brothers thought up about 8 years ago, and I unfortunately got stuck with it when the Xbox Live account accidentally linked to my profile and achievements. Regrets were had that day. I should have just made a new account, but the laziness is strong with this one. Yea, I see what you mean. Nexus 64 bit vst. But like I said, from my Google searches (which weren't very extensive, keep that in mind) I couldn't find anything that would allow you to change the GFWL account without physically purchasing another copy of the game. Let me get something straight: Your Live ran out on your old account and because of this you can no longer play Dark Souls? Yet you have a new Live account you wish to transfer your current product key to?
Is that correct, or am I misunderstanding what you have written (which is entirely possible, I was never any good at analyzing text in English class).
